Welcome! Looking for tips on buying?

And let’s break it down... 

Make sure that you have talked to a lender (don’t know one, call me). Get preapproved for financing, this will let you know how much you are able to buy and what your monthly payments will be.

The town you like (of course you do, it is beautiful in the mountains!) But do you need to focus on local schools, commute to work, activities, etc. 

 Is this your forever home? Do you really need that much square footage? (Is your family going to grow? Guest space?) Do you need that 2-car garage? (Is it something you “want” to have and can build later? Or do you have a classic car that “needs” to be protected?

Remember when coming to preview properties (and I will remind you) ASU Game days and holiday weekends can make it harder (and pricey) to find a place to rent for the weekend. Driving time can be slowed down by increased traffic, which means less time to see the homes you can to see. Weather. The High Country can see 4 seasons in day so make sure you come prepared. Shoes. Up the steps, down the steps and around the yard… but over and over again, please wear and dress comfortable. And last but not least, have fun!
